Breaking my own rule

You know, the one about no pictures? I had to show off- my babies are getting big on my milk and I am so proud! How big? 9 1/2 to 10 pounds each!

A very long, overly-detailed and obsessive post about breastfeeding is forthcoming. These babies are amazing, and I am hoping I might be able to drop a pumping session or two soon as they take more from my breast and less from a bottle. Are you on the edge of your seat or what? I am sure you'd rather be watching "American Idol" auditions than read about nursing, but STILL. It occupies my mind, breasts and time 'round the clock, so what better to write about?

  2. OhMyGosh Carrie. They are perfect! So so cute! I love seeing them all in a row like that! Your peom is awesome. Exactly how Ive been feeling and couldnt quite get it out. Nursing is going ok. Ive been tandeming 2 and bottling 1 at each feeding then rotate. Its not easy but we are doing ok. Im still doing just bottles at night to make it so I can still get some sleep. I just hate hate hate the pumping! Thinking out you guys alot, I check for updates all the time. :)

  14. Coming out of lurkerdome... your boys are SO handsome! I'm 22 weeks pregnant with our first with the help of injections and an IUI, and I'm starting to freak out about breast feeding just one baby... you are a rockstar for feeding 3! Would love to hear more about your preferences on milk storage, bottles you use etc.

  16. Oh. My. God.

They are adorable. Thank you for posting the picture, it made my day. Every visual like that gives me motivation for keeping my twin boys baking for as long as possible, even though times are getting very tough.

Sending good thoughts for awesome breastfeeding and sleep-filled (as much as possible) nights! :)

Success stories are very powerful for those having problems and looking for help.
I've been nursing my twins for 16 months now and I am very proud.. it's a wonderful accomplishment. My husband tells me had I had triplets I would have figured out a way to nurse them all too!

  27. Three little baby butts all in a row! So cute! Congrats on keeping with the nursing on top of all the pumping! My trio and I have fallen off the bandwagon, but I still pump almost all their milk with the same pump you have.
